The center of the pump housing has a liquid suction port connected to the suction pipe. The liquid enters the through the bottom valve and suction pipe. The liquid discharge port on the pump housing is connected to the discharge pipe.
When the pumps rotational speed is constant, head and flow rate are related to the impeller diameter. The double suction pump is mainly used as the first choice for large flow rates.
Since it has two ports, the axial force caused by the impact of the medium on the impeller can be balanced, greatly reducing the harm of the axial force to the pump shaft and improving the pumps operating efficiency.
The double suction pump has a high flow load and can operate at high flow rates for a long time without causing severe damage the pump.
